We welcome yogis of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. Yoga retreats are not just for the yogi who practices every day and can touch the floor with their elbows. Our retreats are for every day people who want to explore yoga in collaboration with a holiday or break in a natural location.
How do I pick which yoga retreats to go on?
Start by exploring the Retreats page to see which type of retreats are on offer. We are available over email, if you have questions, ask!

Our group sizes are 12 on average. The maximum amount of guests is no more than 22.
What food can I expect?
We generally provide almost all of the meals during your trip (2-3 daily), as described on the retreat page in whats included. We always enjoy delicious, plentiful and nourishing food on our retreats, you wont go hungry. Meals are plant-based to include organic, seasonal and fresh ingredients as often as possible. We ask if you have any dietary, special needs or allergies in the Registration form when you book.
What should I bring?
We provide yoga mats, unless you prefer to use your own. Bring sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes, swimwear, sunglasses, book, journal, reusable water bottle. If there is anything else specific to bring, you can refer to the welcome pack which will be sent to you before the retreat.

You will receive a general welcome pack when you register and pay your deposit. As the date of the retreat gets closer, you will receive a pack with more information specifically on your retreat.
Please refer to the relevant Retreat page and “Retreat Includes” section but typically we include all accommodation, all pre yoga fruit and teas, brunch, supplies to make lunch and most evening meals. Each retreat varies, but we like to include 1-2 excusions and leave the other days for optional activities. All yoga classes are included. There is a meditation optional session on each retreat. All retreats include transportation for listed included activities.

Retreats do have limited spaces as we can accommodate a maximum of 22 guests. The property has 12 bedrooms with twin or double beds. Early bird discounts are worth looking out for where the earlier you sign up the better the price.

Flights are not included in the Retreat price so you will need to book your own flight to Oporto, which is the closest airport to the Retreat.
How do I get from the airport to the house?
For most retreats you are responsible for your own airport transfer unless stated otherwise. You can always ask for support in booking your transfer and we are usually able to pair people up to share in the cost.
What is the currency and where do I get it? How much cash will I need?
Portugal use the Euro. All of the activities highlighted on the “Retreat includes” page are included in the price. There will be free time during the retreat, where you may wish to explore on your own at your own cost. If you choose to go on any optional excursions you will be responsible for the costs. Feel free to ask any questions around average prices for taxis or meals.

There is a check in and out time and date for your retreat. You will need to purchase your flights in order to arrive/depart by those given times and dates. We do suggest you tag a day or two on, at your own cost, either at the beginning or end of the retreat to explore more and to make the most of your trip to Portugal.
